birthday package!!

today i got my birthday package from my dallin!! he sent me a whole outfit! tennessee vols basketball shorts, vols shirt, and vols hat! all in that ridiculously bright orange :) he's so sweet! and a cute birthday letter of course :)

birthday!

today was my birthday! it was a pretty good day! it feels wierd to be 20! this is the first birthday that i've actually felt older. bizarre! i got my birthday letter from my dallin yesterday, and my birthday card from him today! perfect timing. we love tangled!

holly was the first one to tell me happy birthday today! she woke me up before she left for school to give me this card she made. so adorable! she worked so hard on it. i love her so much

kim, dallin's mom, took me to red robin for my birthday lunch! she waited til exactly 1:52 to give me my present (jewelry!). their birthday tradition is getting their present the minute they were born, and i've been hoping to be made a part of this family tradition! she made today special :)

• putting change in my piggy bank that my dallin gave me last year for my birthday!

friends :) i'm so glad these girls came!! and so glad it stopped raining just in time for us to freeze outside by the fire!

overall, not to shabby of a day! it was hard not having my dallin here, but its ok!! i got my pretty princess card on right on time :) and lots of family and friends showed me how much they care :) they made today alot easier!

my love and i have been together for 2 and a half years! i'm patiently waiting for him as he serves his mission in tennessee. he's an amazing missionary and i wouldn't want him anywhere else!
dallin is my best friend!! he always knows just what to say and just how to make me laugh. he is such a sweetheart!

important things you should know:

• we were high school sweethearts! (yes i have his letterman jacket!)



• we met in seminary



• we love fireworks and picnics



• we write once a week



• for christmas 2010, my dallin gave me 104 boxes of mac and cheese, one for each week he's gone! wednesday is mac day.



• we have a piggy bank that we have been filling with loose change for a year now



• we send tic tac toe back and forth through letters



• we have a thing for confetti!



• we love singing in the car



• we love food network



• we can always finish each others sentences, even from 1000 miles away!



• we both have promise rings from each other
