Cute mumsy helping me pick flowers for my flower boxes. Good thing she's a gardening genius! I've been needing more flowers in my life. I've grown up with my mom and grandmas and great-grandmas always having extensive, gorgeous gardens with beautiful memories. I think that is what sparked my love for flowers and plants. It's a little hard to have a garden when you're living on the third story of an apartment building! So my smart mom helped me come up with a way to build window boxes to hang off the railing on our balcony! I loved spending the time at J & J's to decide which blooms I'd love to see all summer. I'm so excited to watch them grow!

I think this hymn is a beautiful way to express my testimony of Christ's resurrection, and the meaning of Easter. Dallin played the organ in sacrament for Easter, and when he played this hymn, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm so thankful for our Savior and all he has done for us.

       

The Easter bunny came to our house! Feeding handsome's love of chocolate and watches, and my love of sparkly things and one of my FAVORITE perfumes.

April showers

I love love April!! Such a happy spring month.

I've been working on this hand painted sign for a couple Saturdays, and just finished it!! I absolutely love it and can't wait put it up in our room.

january/february

Where did January and February go?? they were good months, but i'm glad that bleary dreary cold stuff is gone and we can start moving on to spring!

dallin and i made it our goal for this year to get to the temple AT LEAST every month in 2014. we're doing great so far, and enjoying the joy and blessings that come from temple attendance.

 

tayler and i thought up these beautiful hand embroidered valentine samplers for our etsy shop. these are the ones I did for my house :)

i had so much fun with our february decorations!

in february i went rock climbing with my brother josh. it's his passion and i wanted to see what it's all about, and spend some time with him. it is SO hard! but i'm so glad i went.

Valentines day was lovely to spend with my permanent valentine!! And it's our boyfriend/girlfriend anniversary of five years!! Five years ago handsome asked me if he could be my boyfriend. Now look at us!! 

Isn't bestie the most amazing?? She remembers absolutely everything.

Great news, we found a ZAXBY'S in Utah!! This is one of handsome's favorite restaurants down south. And they just opened one in Ogden!! We have been there probably too many times now, and it's just as good as he wrote home to tell me about!! 

Bad news, it makes you fat haha!! 

Not so good coloring, but this beautiful painting was painted by my great grandma before I was born, and grandpa gave it to me to keep! I found this fun rustic frame and I love having it in my living room, getting to imagine what great grandma Ora Hunt was like!

I came home from quilting and handsome had BOUGHT ME AN IPAD!!! I adore it. And him. What a fun surprise! We are having so much fun with its convenience, and I'm getting a lot out of its real purpose in my life, reading on it!
