Fifth annual EGGSTRAVAGANZA!!!
Because we're cute
Cute mumsy helping me pick flowers for my flower boxes. Good thing she's a gardening genius! I've been needing more flowers in my life. I've grown up with my mom and grandmas and great-grandmas always having extensive, gorgeous gardens with beautiful memories. I think that is what sparked my love for flowers and plants. It's a little hard to have a garden when you're living on the third story of an apartment building! So my smart mom helped me come up with a way to build window boxes to hang off the railing on our balcony! I loved spending the time at J & J's to decide which blooms I'd love to see all summer. I'm so excited to watch them grow!
Getting ready to plant!
My very own Fourth of July tomato!! Now I can have tomatoes whenever I please :)
It just feels so homey!!
April temple trip. I love to grow my testimony!! We got to bring my parents and handsome's parents. How BLESSED are we that we can all go together??
New Easter outfits! Because we like to coordinate :) we're THOSE people haha
He is risen! He is risen!
Tell it out with joyful voice.
He has burst his three days' prison;
Let the whole wide earth rejoice.
Death is conquered; man is free.
Christ has won the victory.
Come with high and holy hymning;
Chant our Lord's triumphant lay.
Not one darksome cloud is dimming
Yonder glorious morning ray,
Breaking o'er the purple east,
Symbol of our Easter feast.
He is risen! He is risen!
He hath opened heaven's gate.
We are free from sin's dark prison,
Risen to a holier state.
And a brighter Easter beam
On our longing eyes shall stream.
I think this hymn is a beautiful way to express my testimony of Christ's resurrection, and the meaning of Easter. Dallin played the organ in sacrament for Easter, and when he played this hymn, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm so thankful for our Savior and all he has done for us.
The Easter bunny came to our house! Feeding handsome's love of chocolate and watches, and my love of sparkly things and one of my FAVORITE perfumes.
Sneak peek of the quilting on the back of my first quilted quilt!
