First Anniversary!

Our first anniversary was June 8, 2014. We went on a cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico! We had incredible time!

Day at sea

The most delicious piña colada of all time. The food all week was the best!

The day we got off the boat we spent the afternoon in beautiful Santa Monica 

Mostly to see the famous pier with the Ferris wheel, but also to go to bloomies haha!! We got corn dogs on the beach, a hot fudge Sunday to share, and went to the bay conservation aquarium under the pier! Adorbs 

Saturday we had a little anniversary party with our family. So grateful for my parent and in-laws and grandparents that came to celebrate our marriage! They are our favorite examples. Mom and holly surprised us with a cute banner!!

I'm spoiled beyond belief. I KNOW.

What an incredible first year this has been. I fall more in love with my sweetheart every day. I'm so grateful for everything he does for me! I'm so glad to be sealed to him. I'm so thankful for our families and the examples of love and friendship they are to us. I love learning and growing with my husband.

May was wonderful! we did so many fun things. Hello June! many more fun things coming in this busy summer!!

memorial day is my favorite holiday. it always has been! I love all our traditions and the chance we have to visit our family members who have passed, and learn more about them. this year is the first year we've had to visit this special lady here. it was a beautiful day with so many beautiful flowers from grandpa's yard.

i had the special opportunity to go through the temple with one of my dearest childhood friends last week. it was such a neat day!

we got our wedding book finally!! its beautiful. i can't even handle it. i put it together on picaboo, with our engagement pictures, my bridal pictures, all our wedding pictures, and our honeymoon pictures! i feel so much better knowing they're all compiled in one place

Spring

Spring has been so lovely!! We've been doing so much fun stuff, and we have so many more fun things coming up!! 

We went to the fun center with our fav stokes'. Bowling, mini golf, and laser tag! The funnest! 

Horrible pictures, I know. But still fun!!

The next day we went to the new aquarium in draper. SO FUN and beautiful. It woke up my childhood desire to be a marine biologist. But then I remembered (as I did back then) I'm terrified of the open ocean and whales, so that dream got crushed. again. Hahaha

And got pretty good seats :)

Made some incredible lemon cookies with even more incredible lemon filling. So yum, and even MY MOM said they were UNBELIEVABLE. Gigantic compliment
